Medishield for Proton Therapy Cost
Depending on the diagnosis, Medishield (available to all Singaporeans) provides coverage ranging from $300 to $1800 (e.g. craniopharyngioma) per session to help with proton therapy costs. Thus, a substantial proportion of your treatment may be covered by Medishield, since the multiple sessions (20 to 42) of Proton Therapy Radiotherapy are often needed.
Medisave for Proton Therapy Cost
Singaporeans and PRs can be utilise Medisave as well. Claims can range from $80 to $1800 per treatment depending on the diagnosis. Thus, a substantial proportion of proton therapy costs may be covered by Medisave, since the multiple sessions (20 to 42) of Proton Therapy Radiotherapy are often needed.

Integrated Shield Plans by the major insurers in Singapore – Great Eastern, Prudential, NTUC Income, AIA, Singlife, Raffles Shield, HSBC Life generally cover Proton Therapy costs and cashless payment is possible. We accept insurance from all major insurers. International insurance- e.g. Bupa, Cigna, Allianz, etc are accepted as well.
